(February 21, 2017 | Washington, DC) Catalist and Latino Decisions today announced a strategic partnership for 2017, joining the experience and insight of the nation’s leading Latino pollster with the power of the progressive community’s data utility.
Following a productive collaboration through the 2016 election cycle, Catalist and Latino Decisions will jointly conduct research and construct new models and synthetics to provide progressives with deeper insight into the Latino community’s voting behavior, language and acculturation, and diverse set of issue preferences.
As Latino registration and participation rates continue to grow, building better understanding of the unique factors that drive turnout, party identification, and issue preference among Latino groups is more important than ever.
“Latino Decisions is excited to bring our expertise and analysis of Latino public opinion to the biggest data utility for the progressive community,” said Matt Barreto, co-founder and Managing Partner of Latino Decisions. “Partnering with Catalist will ensure that our new insights serve progressive organizations quickly and effectively.”
“We look forward to sharing the products and insights developed through this partnership with the progressive community. They will be critical to our many battles that lie ahead of us in the states, Congress, and to push back against the Trump administration,” said Laura Quinn, CEO, Catalist.
Catalist provides data and data-related services exclusively to progressive organizations to help them better identify, understand, and communicate with the people they need to persuade and mobilize.
